This is a great combo. It is actually a quality setup compared to many of the cheap total packages you'll find in stores. I've fished these Okuma Cascade reels for years and they are smooth, lightweight and bombproof. I bought my components separately but wish this combo was available then. I advised a friend to buy this who wanted to get into fly fishing and he loves it. This is actually an into setup that you won't throw away if you decide to get serious about fly fishing.
As a negative, it is not a swanky name brand, doesn't have some beautiful metal finish on the reel, or exotic wooden reel seat, but if you're interested in fishing and not some kind of elitist fashion show, then this is an ideal way to go.
