Nice little reel for the money. It has a good drag and retrieves smoothly. This reel doesn't have a continuous anti-reverse and is basically based on a 20 year old design, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It' holds more line than most reels it's size and weight. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a handle knob that was not slippery to hold. How much more can it cost to use rubber rather than hard plastic for the knob? One other potential problem I see with this model is that it has a short reel foot (front to back). I have one rod that won't go small enough to hold the reel securely even with the reel seat tightened as far as it can go. This is the only ultralight reel I've ever used that had that problem.
