Thugs get killed and criminals go to jail. Tired of the glorification of abohhrent behavior in our youth. Roger Troutman was the heart of Zapp and I don't think he would approve of this typre of travesty. I don't care how "dope" the music and the hooks are if the message is straight from Hell. Nothing positive here.

Disgusting!! If I Tried, I'd Do Better!!, November 10, 2006
This review is from: Ol Skool Music 2 (Audio CD)
I had heard a track or two of Mr. Capone-e's music before & I thought he had a little something. I also own the Zapp VI album & felt were Terry (Zapp) was going, so I wanted to see how he had evolved. Now I'm a huge Zapp & Roger fan and a fan of Chicano & Gangsta Rap, so naturally this is suppose to be the best of both worlds... how wrong I was.
Mr. Capone-e has no lyrical talent. His timing is off & his subject matter is that of a 15-year-old boy who thinks he's all gangsta & hard. He definitely puts a bad label on Mexicans, Chicanos, Latinos, & Hispanics all-together. I know he's probably done more & worse dirt than me, but he shouldn't be on the mic!!!!!!
a greater union of a Chicano & Zapp can be heard on the track: "SPECIAL" by BROWN BOY.
The only time I felt myself liking songs is when Terry came on them. He has great potential, but I can't figure out why he would agree to this. Times get tough, but you just gotta HOLD ON & keep ya head up!
I hope to see more of Zapp, but I will never do another stupid act such as buying both CDs at once.
Keep it real: A waste of time & money.
