A comprehensive history of Asheville's McCormick Field,

Bob Terrell, a local writer and long-time sportswriter, is uniquely qualified to expound on the Park, so this is probably the definitive history of McCormick Field, home of the Asheville Tourists, currently of the South Atlantic League (Single-A minor league baseball). Bob tracks the history in a chronological sequence and gives the anecdotes and highlights of the park. I was in Asheville during the off season, and went by the field before i bought the autographed copy at the craft show, but the book only increased my desire to come back some summer and experience a game at "The Old Ball Yard".
