5.0 out of 5 stars Simply charming voice of the bayou... November 8, 2011
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
This solo album from former Radiators guitarist, Camile Baudoin, is rife with some truly fantastic songs. As a longtime fan of The Radiators, I have been used to Camile's solid background vocals and "shredding" guitar licks; however, I had no idea that there was this soulful, Cajun country side to him. From the hauntingly lovely instrumental "Song for Nananne" to the bluesy "Oh, Lonesome" me to the kickin' "I'm Walkin'," Camile has created an album that you'll want to hear again and again. It is, as the title of this review states, simply charming, with its minimal editing and background instrumentals. Bravo, Camile!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, Soulful, and more than satisfied! November 7, 2011
Format:Audio CD
This little gem of record is a one of the best releases from New Orleans based Threadhead Records of year to date! I've seen Camile shred the fretboard with The Radiators, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear his joyfully folk singing and soulful acoustic guitar playing. Very few records have the ability to make you feel like a welcomed guest in the artist's home, but Camile and his crew cooks a downright bayou gumbo meal for you on this record!
- If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check this record out.
