I just saw Steep Canyon Rangers live and boy do they put on a great show. See them if you get the chance. Nothing can capture their live performance, but the CD does a good job of showing off their strengths and impressive song writing ability. Get this CD!

I have seen the Rangers perform twice in the last few months at the Prism in Charlottesville, Virginia, and they are absolutely outstanding. This is a wonderful CD to add to your collection. These guys have amazing chops for being so young - most of the five members of the band have recently graduated from college - and the songs are fresh while still being grounded in bluegrass tradition. Buy it quick and see 'em live!

The Steep Canyon Rangers are young, talented, and unbelievable. If you can see them live, go! Every single member of the 5 person band is incredibly talented. Go see them! Buy their CD! You will be so glad you did.
