Very nice Ice Bucket
I am very happy with the ice bucket. It came beautifully packaged. The only complaint I have is regarding the ice tongs. They are very pretty but not very functional. Very hard to pick up the ice cubes. Other than that, wonderful product and very decorative. The Ice bucket works wonderfully.

Ill fitting liner makes this an awkward item
The plastic liner that keeps the ice insulated and cold was malformed & extremely ill fitting making the item appear poorly crafted. The copper seemed scratched already, perhaps by the coating that is supposed to keep it from tarnishing? I've ordered other copper pieces from Old Dutch & been thrilled with the quality. This was not.

This ice bucket is NOT solid. The box has the word "solid" covered with a sticker that states "decor" copper. Essentially the description is misleading and incorrect. Anyone who was lucky enough to get solid copper was just that . . . lucky. This ice bucket is just cheap looking. The brass know looks substantial but that is about it. bought it for a wedding gift, but am too ashamed to give it.

The ice bucket arrived packaged neatly but after removing the wrapping, I noticed that there were deep scratches which gave the appearance that the item had been used. I returned the item for a refund but I haven't heard back from Amazon whether I received the refund or not. I would appreciate a response.

I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled, especially after taking a chance ordering this product in spite of the previous bad reviews. Was very pleased!! It was packaged good, no scratches, looks new and was just what I was hoping for. Nice enough to present as a gift but fortunately I purchased for myself!! Probably will not use the tongs but really hadn't planned too, an ice scoop works much better anyway.
