This jar is quite beautiful, but not practical. I was worried about actually putting cookies inside as it does not look like something made for holding food. So I use it for wrapped snacks like crackers and small packages of treats. The bottom, unfortunately, had several small defects and when my counterspace was wet the copper leaked rust colored stains on to my countertop (which I was able to remove); I coated the entire bottom of the jar with clear nail polish and have had no recurrence of the problem. So, it looks great, but not used for what I had intended, putting cookies in it.

The lid fits perfectly, unlike the 4 canister set. Just the right size for about 2 dozen cookies. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Nice product. Sits very well on my kitchen table filled with home made dog biscuits. I like it.

I purchased this so I would have a nice looking canister to store my dog's food in, in my kitchen by my sink, rather than having to leave her food in the bag and out of sight, as she gets a dehydrated meal that needs to be wet down. It keeps her food fresh and the canister itself is attractive and quite well made. Just felt it was a tad on the expensive side; think the metal on the body of the canister could be just a bit thicker/heavier for the price.

The copper cookie tin was very nice. Much bigger than I thought. The color and relief on it was very good. Plenty of room for lots of cookies or just packaged treats.

I was very pleased with the look of my cookie jar. I also ordered the canister set and very pleased with all purchases. Very happy with the speedy delivery.

This cookie jar is beautiful, so it's too bad it arrived with a damaged knob. I've asked for a replacement knob, but I was told that the merchant, in this case, Target, didn't have any more in stock. Funnily enough, I see that they are still being offered for order. Come on people, it's just a little knob! I was told that they would give me a full refund, but this was a Christmas gift for a hard-to-buy-for family member, so getting my money back isn't quite satisfactory. Bummer!

UPDATE: Amazon finally made it right and sent me a new cookie jar. It took about four times, but I finally got in contact with someone who was willing to do the right thing.
