Copper molds add a decorative touch to kitchen walls, plus produce wonderfully-detailed jellies, aspics, cakes, and puddings. Bright and shiny, this pineapple-shaped mold is made of solid copper lined with nickel that won’t react with acidic foods. A brass ring is attached for hanging, while a lacquer coating helps resist tarnishing. Before use in an oven, remove the lacquer with a lacquer stripper.
Measuring 6-1/2 by 4-3/4 inches and holding approximately one pint, this pineapple mold turns out a mousse or cake perfectly-sized for two. Copper molds should be washed by hand in hot, soapy water without abrasive pads or cleansers, then towel-dried.
