Bright and shiny, this solid copper mold with detailed fruit design makes a cheerful wall decoration. Lined with nickel (which won’t react with acidic foods), the mold produces jellies, aspics, cakes, and mousses that are sure to elicit "oohs and ahs". A brass ring is attached for hanging, while a lacquer coating helps resist tarnishing. Before use in an oven, remove the lacquer with a lacquer stripper.

Measuring eight by three inches and holding one quart, this round, scalloped fruit mold turns out a dessert perfectly-sized for four to six. Copper molds should be washed by hand in hot, soapy water without abrasive pads or cleansers, then towel-dried. Lacquer-free copper can be polished periodically, or allowed to develop a warm patina over time. --Ann Bieri

I received this in good order, however the packing paper was stuck to the mold and looked like it was packed wet. They put a protective coating on the copper which you need to take off if you actually use it. I bought it really just for looks to put on my copper pot rack. So some of the protective covering shows up a little defective. I may just go ahead and use the solution to remove it then it would look nicer. Other than that, I am very happy with the mold.
