I returned these salt and pepper shakers as they were MUCH darker than pictured on-line and on the product box. They were closer to a dark chocolate brown.

This set is substantial in size. They were easy to fill because the plastic plug partially screws, unlike others that require a lot of pulling and prying to remove the stoppers. The finish is easy to maintain.

Very disappointing for a nicely designed, more unique salt & pepper shaker. Though it was well packed, the salt shaker top had a scratch in the lacquer coating. The holes in the shakers were only roughly punched and not cleanly machined to circles. The punches had sharp edges.

When I ordered this I was worried that it would be too thin and not heavy enough, thankfully this concern was unwarranted. These are great quality items and look beautiful in my kitchen! They are heavy metal and quite sturdy.

As stated in other reviews, the color is more brown than copper, but still look good in my kitchen on my stove. Very functionable, A little pricy for what you get, but still happy with overall product.

I liked the appearance of the set.I washed them in warm water and let them air dry for 2 days. Once i put my salt and pepper in them and started using them i noticed on the bottom the paint is chipping off. Really disappointed in that. Like the big openings for useage but the paint coming off isn't cool. Not sure i would recommend this product for that reason.

I was a little reluctant to buy these after reading some of the reviews, but I actually really like them. They do look brown, but they are very nice quality. They look antique like. I gave them as a gift and my friend really loved them.

One of the salt and pepper shakers doesn't sit completely flat. My husband got the plug to sink in enough that I kept them when I should have exchanged them. It will probably always be a problem. I do like the looks of them though.

This item goes great with the canisters, and I really like the appearance. Would recommend as a compliment to the canisters.

I bought these to go with my kitchen makeover which includes copper. The ARE very dark, but I have some darker copper in my backsplash so it works out. As for quality, I think they are pretty good. I like the design on them as well.
