True, you can't boil water in this, as it is a teapot. Teapots are used to brew tea. Tea kettles are used to boil water. There is a difference.

It is a teapot people, don't use it to boil water. It is a nice design and keeps tea warm for about an hour. Makes enough for 4 (tiny tea cups. Make sure to use a trivet or coaster when setting the pot down because the iron will stain surfaces!

I use this everyday!

This teapot is pretty, but you can't boil water in it, seems useless. Also, the description neglected to state its size, it will only hold about 12 ounces of water. The picture is misleading. I will be returning it.
