This offers the traditional information, but I did not know when I purchased it that there is a local edition tailored to the area of the country where one lives. I wish I had bought this locally or searched for the local version.

Here's the book for us weather junkies and those who like strange but true information. Like did you know there is a phobia for the fear of Daylight/Sunshine....called Phengophobia! ANd there are twelve others ranging from a fear of Fog to a fear of cold and heat! Also it gives weather outlooks from November 2006 to October 2007!
A great book to take on a trip or for light reading. There's all kinds of tidbits of knowledge.

Everyone needs an Old Farmer's Almanac. It is packed with information. Weather, planting guides, moon phases, recipes, etc. It is an annual must for me.
