Good sandals, for indoor use, May 5, 2010
This review is from: Old Friend Unisex 483196 Trekker Massage Sandal (Apparel)
I only have 2 weeks with this sandals, and so far I like them. They're very light, and the pressure points are distributed evenly, so there's no feeling that something is poking your feet. I use them in the office.
I don't recommend this sandals for outside use, for hiking or something like that, as it seems like the materials and manufacturing are somewhat cheap, and the sole is somewhat flat. I think from the materials/manufacturing POV, it could cost less.
All and all, I'll probably buy another pair for home. I cannot find a similar product anywhere else, with the right combination of reflexology features and closed sandal with a strip on the back, aaaaaand cheaper.. If anybody knows of any other option, let me know OK?

So Comfortable!, November 8, 2010
This review is from: Old Friend Unisex 483196 Trekker Massage Sandal (Apparel)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! I only wish I could wear them all year! I have worn them everyday, everywhere, since spring as soon as it was warm enough. It took a couple weeks to break them in, at first the leather on top of my ankle was a bit irritating. I got them because due to lyme disease the soles of my feet were excruciatingly painful. These spread out the weight of my feet and just feel wonderful. I have worn Adidas adissage for a long time, and love them but they are so ugly. I got these to wear out and about and have never regreted it. They are attractive and people are always asking me about them. Just bought a second pair, and also a different style. I do not agree that they aren't well made, nor that they can't be worn outside. I wear them on walks all the time, though no sandal is great in the woods. The only thing is the prongs begin to break off after about 6 month or so. I have been wearing them ALL the time for 8 months (except inside where I wear the adissage), and probably 15 or 20 prongs have broken off. Still a great shoe, especially if you have trouble with your heals and soles of your feet.

Instant foot massage, I love these sandals!, October 26, 2010
I love these sandals! When the bottoms of my feet hurt I put them on and walk in them for a few minutes. That's all it takes. That leaves lots of little indentations in the soles of my feet, but they don't hurt any more, and then I put my regular shoes back on. (And the indentations go away, of course.) One note on sizing: As my foot measures 8 1/2 wide I ordered the size 9 but that was a full inch longer than my feet. I was given a return shipping label, so I didn't pay anything for shipping either way, and I then ordered the size 8 which is just fine. These sandals feel like you're standing on lots of rounded stones, so not comfortable for walking long distances but they're not meant for that. They are perfect used for just a few minutes at a time. And that time may get longer the longer I have them, but for now (I just got them a few days ago), a few minutes at a time is perfect. These sandals are an instant foot rub! I love them! I also like the strap on the back, because you don't want these sandals slapping your heel as you walk in them. All straps are adjustable. I will always have a pair of these in the house.
