5.0 out of 5 stars Old Friend Slippers
I have had a pair of Old Friend slippers for about five years now. I have worn them probably 355 days a year, several hours a day for the five years and they are beat now. Well, the suede is still in really good shape, but the sole is falling apart and I have worn the fleece down on the insole. My wife thinks it's funny for my new puppy to chew on them. So, it's time...

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid option for indoor slippers.
I wear a size 13-14. So I ordered their 14-15 instead of the 12-13. I was wrong. The 14-15 are way to big. So the 12-13 work fine. Especially since these are open tow you have some room to be wrong on the size.

They are pretty comfortable. The lining on the inside bothers the tops of my toes a bit but you get used to them and kinda learn how to walk in...

So, it's time for a replacement pair, and, that is why I am here.

I have found them to be VERY comfortable, very well-made and am here to buy to buy a second pair. They are nice and warm, but the open toes keep my feet from sweating. I definitely recommend them and plan to get my mother (and maybe my brother) a pair.

Was replacement for worn out pair. Have diabetes, and this is so much more comfortable than the custom diabetic shoes. Great product. Great service and fast delivery. 100% satisfied!

I had purchased these for my husband and they worked so well and were so warm, I wanted some. Couldn't find women's in my size, so decided to try men's (I often buy mens shoes as they often seem to be better made than women's) Anyway, these were too short for me so I had to return them. However, if a person has problems with swollen feet, etc. these are great. That was my husbands problem.

In rehab my husband lost a toe and got pressure sores on his feet due to the wrong slippers. These are paded enough to let his feet heel and no rub the amputation.... I can't Thank you enough for finding these shoes in you store. They have litterally put my husband back on the road to recovery

They are pretty comfortable. The lining on the inside bothers the tops of my toes a bit but you get used to them and kinda learn how to walk in them. The backs of them sort of come off the back of my foot when I expected them to stay on more like a shoe since the back comes up so much. But again, you adjust your expectations and get used to this. Also... they have hard rubber sole which is good for sturdiness but you can't take them outside because of this... the wool will get disgusting.

These aren't the best slippers, but they're pretty good. A tad overpriced.

The only down side is my fiancee thought I looked funny wearing them - they are a little bulky and if you wear them with shorts be prepared to be mocked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pair of slippers, August 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased these slippers for my mother-in-law who has swelling in her legs and feet. We couldn't find anything wide enough in a woman's slipper. They are well made, soft inside and the velcro strap over the foot made it very easy for her to put them on. Keep in mind when ordering they run very wide and a bit short for a men's slipper so you might consider ordering the next size up for a good fit in length.
