Anthony Michael James is certainly a newcomer to watch - he has a great, clean unaffected country voice and the songs are top-notch. He has already enjoyed some radio success (see his website at www.anthonymichaeljames.com) and has just been awarded the New Music Weekly Song of the Year honor for "Old Friends," which is included in this selection. Reminiscent of James Taylor, Collin Raye and other vocal purists, Anthony Michael James's voice really draws you in. "Sweet Sarah" is a great story song - and Anthony's interpretation certainly adds to the mix. It's hard to resist a great hook - and a great singer. This kid has got what it takes.
