About the Author

Bob Rowan has been in the commercial photo-media business for 35 years. He is an Honors Graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, CA and earned a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University. His commercial work has included primarily corporate clients, architectural firms, publishers and advertising. He has produced, directed and photographed over 400 multimedia presentations for corporate clients such as Pacific Gas and Electric, Marriott, IBM, Ford and Pacific Bell. His work in photography and multimedia has garnered numerous awards, internationally. He is an inductee of the International Association for Multimedia Producers Hall of Fame. He has done photography for 16 Coffee Table Books, primarily on cities and states. He is currently devoting much of his time to creating stock photography for two international agencies, CORBIS and Panoramic Images. After moving to the Northwest from San Francisco in 1991, he began working on his recent book, Old Glory and Friends, which was published in December of 2002.
