Delicious Joan Smith romance!,

"Landing a flesh and blood husband was proving difficult for the daughter of a famous ghost hunter!"Excerpt from back of book: "Although Charity did not share her father's unusual power and had never seen any ghosts, she didn't doubt his ability to communicate with the great beyond. From manor to manor they traveled to placate offending spirits... which gave Charity little opportunity to nurture any budding romance. When they visit historic Keefer Hall, rife with murder, mystery, and spectral guests, Charity finds herself challenged by John, Earl of Merton. His cynical air aside, he could be most handsome and charming-- and determined to get to the bottom of the strange doings that had his mother so distraught. Perhaps this time Charity and love stood a ghost of a chance..." Great story, wonderful characters, and it was lovely to see Charity stand up to the forceful Merton when he challenged the authenticity of her father's abilities. A sweet romance.

Ms. Smith's romance novels are generally a fun read, this was another light-hearted story. It had ghost, mystery, and romance plus Ms. Smith's signature wit and humor of the characters... Another book to add to my bookshelf.
