2.0 out of 5 stars If You're Not Concerned With Quality..................
Then you will enjoy this CD otherwise it's a waste of money, mostly Vinyl records transferred to CD and poorly done at that. You can clearly hear vinyl noise and pops/crackles. There should be a law that CD's transfered from vinyl records should state so on the package. I wasted my money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Old School Jams, Vol. 3, December 20, 2006

It has taken me years to finally find a disk with the "Original" version of "The Show" with Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew. For those in the know, the part where Slick Rick says "Me-Shell, Ma-Bell...." was strangely edited out in every other version of the song that I've ever come across on Compact Disc. A special "Thank You" to whomever found the "Original" 12-inch version!

The rest of the disk isn't bad, either. But, for me, it's strictly "The Show!" Four stars!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Marred by Poor Sound Quality, September 22, 2005
This review is from: Old School Jams 3 (Audio CD)
Not a bad selection, but it sounds like many of these tracks were mastered from vinyl. You'd be better off springing for a comp. from Rhino, Hi-Bias, or a major label. They have the budget to find original masters.

Great Ol School CD. If you are tired of listening to rappers brag on themselves and disrespect women, then take a trip back to the way it use to be.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy, April 25, 2007
This review is from: Old School Jams 3 (Audio CD)
I agree with Mr. Pac Dan about some of the songs not being 12 inches, but still is a great buy, especially as a constant enjoyment reminder of the real essence of music and just havin' a phenomenally great/quality time whenever you heard these songs.

This review is from: Old School Jams 3 (Audio CD)
I think this is a Cool overall set&covers alot of 80's Jams!! but I don't think that every Act here should have a Long Version.but the Jams that stood out truly only get stronger here.you will enjoy the Bumps&Grooves here.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bomb!!!!!, May 21, 2009
This review is from: Old School Jams 3 (Audio CD)
I love this CD!!!! I am from the "old school era" and this CD really brings back memories. All the old songs we used to jam to are on this CD. It's like an old school party when I play this. We have a lot of family/friends get togethers and go on getaway weekends. This CD along with other old school jams gets played or goes with us. This was definitely a good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Word Is Out, July 17, 2006
This review is from: Old School Jams 3 (Audio CD)
I bought this CD for one song - "The Word Is Out" by Jermaine Stewart. I can't even tell you what is on the rest of the CD. I received it in a hurry, though, and I appreciate that. Thanks much, Angelia
