This was FAN TAS TIC, it brings back memories of house parties, jamming til the early morn'. My friends and family all want to borrow the CD's, I suggested they buy their own because it is an investment they won't regret. Loving and listening to it 24/7.

This compilation is wonderful for "old school" lovers. The hard to find tracks such as "Get Down Saturday Night" and "Keep On" will attract many people as they are the original, full length versions of these songs. The digital age hasn't always been kind to music connoisseurs. Buyers seem to settle for karaoke versions or shortened, or remixed versions that lack the nostalgic appeal of an original piece. As of this writing, the Old School Jams 4 is out of print giving way to exorbitant, ridiculous prices for those who possess copies for sale. Let me caution you against this practice, a kind caveat to encourage you to consider Amazon's digital download program! Your soul will be at peace there, your wallet not driven to impecunity. I suggest you hurry so you can enjoy the "Double Dutch Bus" in all it's splendor and continue to cherish the ole skool grooves for a lifetime. This cd, or MP3, comes highly recommended from DJ Come of Age!

This is a great CD. Highly recommend it to those who danced in the 80's.

I read the reviews on Disc 1 or 2 of the series and as far as I can tell, these jams were ported from vinyl with all of the imperfections, scratches, hisses, etc and without proper analog to digital transferring and related re-mastering. If that's the case with any or all discs in this series, they are worthless to me. I depend on digital production firms such as Rhino for their supreme re-mastering efforts. I am an avid collector of 12' re-mastered jams and may pass on this series [unless the process has improved for other discs in this series].

This has to be one of the "BEST" cd's ever put together, this is what you call a real "FFUUNNKK JAMMMM".

This double CD of hits before and during my time is suitable for listening pleasures be it solo or social. Artists like Brick, Oliver Cheatham, and Vaughn Mason truly add quality to the CD and unless you have a hole in your sole, you'll wanna dance all the way through each CD.

This CD and the music chosen for it has brought back many memories of those fun times. The beat, rhythm and vocals are great. I just feel like dancing every time I play this CD.

I absolutely love my cd. I had purchased it for a bar b que party for the 4th of july & the crowd loved the songs. Everyone was dancing & reminicing from the good old days of these hit songs on this cd. It was so worth the money that i had spent for this cd. The best thing about this cd was the price !!
