I got jewerly and electronics for Christmas but this was honestly my favorite gift this year. I am a returning college student and this has helped me so much from writing my assignments to using to balance my laptop or storing my writing utensils and paper. I got it in the mail as a gift from a family member that lives in another state, and it was packaged well and arrived right on time from when my family member told me to expect it. I would definitely suggest this lap desk to others.

This lap desk is nice lookng as well as very functional. It is large enough to just fit between the arm rests of my recliner, and it is padded well enough to do so comfortably. It has a nicely lined inside storage space sectioned off to keep your writing instruments or tools away from your book or whatever else you might use the desk for. My daughter borrows it for her laptop when she visits, and says that she likes that it sits a little higher than other flat type laptop desks she has usded.

I am impressed with the quality and usefulness of this Lap Desk. The large storage compartments are useful for keeping supplies organized, and can hold a large amount of supplies. I am very impressed that this model can hold all of my study supplies, so that I don't have to hunt for supplies as I need them. Getting organized has greatly improved my study time and I like the idea of all my supplies in one convenient place. Also something I like to note is that the felt lining prevents the items from rolling around to much which is very nice. Lap desks are a valuable study aid by providing a portable writing surface for the user to study from any where they are comfortable, and keeping all supplies and books together as needed. This is a great gift for any student or aspiring artist to have. This is a lap desk you will be proud to own and use for years to come.

I bought this item for a friend's birthday.
He opened this box on his b-date and told me the right hand corner was totally damaged. He took three angles of photo shots and emailed to me - he used to do carpenter himself and we can easily see the poor material (layer of cheap pieces) from the broken area.

He then opened the drawer and two screws fell down. - This was not a big deal as he could easily fix them.

If this item is a $20 item, I won't even bother making this comment. This item plus shipping is close to $60, which is definitly over-priced.

I did contact their customer service and they asked me to follow their return process which is a big paragraph long process steps. In addition, I told them this gift is not at my place as it is at my friend's place - It would cost me more time and more embarrassment for me to drive down to my friend's house to ask for the gift back and ship back. I requested a $20 or $10 price adjustment after sending them the 3 pictures of the defects/broken "wood" (they called their material "wood"). They agreed that the product is damaged but no refund and no price adjustment can be considered.

Not sure if anyone would be interested in spending $60 in buying poor quality (definitely not wood as they claimed to be) product. I highly recommend you to stay away from this vendor and stay away from this product.

I just had back surgery, and wanted something to work on with a laptop. I found this to be perfect for my needs. And on the odd period when I wanted to write something (instead of type into a computer), I had a pen and pad inside the desktop.

I recommend it, love it, and am keeping mine.

Excellent product, well made and functional. Beautiful wood. Use it all the time in bed, on the sofa, etc.

This seemed like a wonderful idea and an excellent Christmas gift. The package arrived promptly and undamaged.
But when my wife opened the product lid for the very first time, THE ENTIRE TOP PANEL CAME OFF IN HER HAND!!!!

There were two wood screws that literally fell out of the holes ( which were apparently too big for the screws since there was no sign of screw threads on the sides of the holes ) and half a dozen tiny little nails about the thickness of a standard staple.

My wife has MS and no longer has the muscle strength in her hand or arm to damage anything.

This product is just plain cheaply made. It would be too expensive at $6; at $60 it qualifies as Grand Theft.

We are huge fans of Amazon and have bought thousands of dollars of products through them. But this product is a complete failure and is being returned. If I could give it Zero stars, I would.

This item was even better than pictured, was a great price and of wonderful quality. I would highly recommend it!

I bought this deak for my sister and not only is it beautiful, it's
so convenient for her to have everything right at hand. She absolutely loves it.

I wanted something to use on my bed or on my lap, given I cover my desk with computer monitors or file trays. Serves purpose. I can store commonly used files inside the desk. Nice to have slot for pens. But cushion on bottom is a bit of overkill for me. I would be satisfied if I just had a nice writing surface without filled cushions on bottom that make it a little unstable on a hard surface.
