A great BBQ grill thermometer,

This thermometer works well and it can take the high heat generated by a gas BBQ grill. (The Taylor thermometer I bought first broke the first time I used it.) It mounts easily in a 3/8" hole in the lid of the grill. However, after purchasing and using this item from here at Amazon, I discovered it's available elsewhere on the web for one-third their price!

I used a bore and installed this on my Weber kettle grill. It installs easily, looks good and works well.
The temperature readings are very accurate. I use this thermometer for smoking and allows me to keep the lid on to maintain a very consistant temperature. Since it's installed directly on the lid, I don't have it poking through the top vent, restricting my ability to adjust the lid vent. It's got a short probe so it doesn't interfere with larger pieces of meat either. I would definitely recommend.

This is a nice little thermometer, it was easy to install in my Weber Grill. I can just peak my head out the door and see what my temp is rather than having to lift the lid and try to guess, meanwhile losing alot of heat. It has a nice sized, easy to read dial!!

2" Smoker Thermometer,

This thermometer made my terrific Weber Smoker even better. Drill a 3/8" hole in the smoker's dome lid, mount the probe of the thermometer through the hole, and you are in business.

Received this item and am generally satisfied with the quality of the therometer itself. However, the
therometer came in a box with nothing in the way of installation instructions. In order to install I had to guess at the diameter of the hole it fits through on the BBQ. A simple diagram, indicating the size of the hole would be all that is needed. Other than that I am satisfied.

Look around for the best price on this, lots of variation out there!
I installed this on my three year old Weber Q gas grill as a quick check on temperatures inside. It installed with no trouble, just a quick drill through the fiberglass and then install the thermometer. Works fine.

Thermometer is just the right size and the colors make it really easy to read from a distance. It was very easy to install, just drill the hole and tighten the nut and the probe isn't so long to get in the way. I recommend this one.
Shipping was fast also.

I bought a smoker, and the only gauge was "warm/ideal/burning"..
Perfect replacement, drill a 3/8" hole, and spin a nut!

I installed this thermometer in my weber smokey mountain grille. The direction tell you the size drill bit. You slide it through the hole and tighted the nut. Bang and seems to work very well and when its windy outside I can red the display from inside
