I have many of this book in various languages(Dutch,German,Indonesian)and lately this English translations by Marlies Bugmann.
I like very much this book translated by Marlies,since she has used the nicest English words for a real story book. Many English translations that I have read,does not reflect the Karl May stories written in German because the translator used either too academic translations or try to expalin more than the orginal German verses! I like Marlies translations on other Karl May as well,like Winnetou 2, Black Mustang and the Holy night! Congratulations! |
