The Dover coloring books are all really good I've found. This was purchased for my 8 year old but it's great for adults too. I love to color and my daughter and I color these together. We have other Dover coloring books and they are full of detail. SO, if you are an adult that likes to color or an older child I recommend these books.

I ordered this coloring book for my mom. She is in the nursing home and loves to color. I thought she would get a kick out of the Old-Time fashions. She loves it! Thanks Amazon!

This book has very nicely drawn pictures and even adults like to color the pictures. The details are very realistic and there is a good variety of pictures.

I am not a huge fan of coloring books. The illustrations in this one are not very exciting, but they do appear to be historically authentic, so it has some educational value. The best thing about this book, however, is that Dover allows the buyer very limited reproduction rights, so I was able to copy a few pages out of it for a class studying the history of clothing without having to write for permission or worry about violating the copyright.
