This product advertises itself as the complete tablature for an album of the same name, and that is exactly what it is. Simple and correct. It doesn't get any better. If you play guitar and you own the album, why not learn some of the songs? Not that hard either, if you already finger pick.

This book is well done.
It's the music as it exists on the album. It is not a simpler version of what is on the album. Additionally, it's all complete tabs of the songs... not just starter tabs to get you started in figuring them out.

Wish it was spiral bound...

I fell in love with Slack Key guitar while on vacation in Hilo. Since I played guitar (somewhat), I decided to learn Slack Key. I had already purchased the album, so this was a no-brainer.

The tablature is exactly as advertised. I have learned to play several of the songs. The tablature is very clear on the vamps, and is quite true to the songs on the album.

The book has notation and tablature for the songs on the cd, and they should be used together.
The "swing" style is not evident simply by reading the music.
The first piece has not come all that easily for me, but as I learn, the style is becoming more
natural and accessible. I love the work, and it is work, to become proficient in playing these
timelessly beautiful pieces. Great, great arrangements: peaceful and relaxing fun.
