Very good introduction to the best of old time radio, January 2, 2006

Contrary to what some of the previous reviewers have reported, this is a 20 CD set containing 40 half hour episodes from old time radio shows. With the exception of the strange ommission of The Shadow, this is a good list of what many consider to be the "Greatest Shows" from old time radio. However, while these are all great shows, the episodes included here are not the greatest episodes of these great shows. For example, Suspense belongs on this list, but the episodes included here are from the end of this show's great run and not from its glory days of the last 1940's. This is a very good set that's strongly recommended even if it isn't perfect. The following is a complete listing of the episodes in this set:
