Book Description

July 31, 1984
For almost three centuries, Old Town, Albuquerque has been the crossroads of the American Southwest. It was formed in the traditional Spanish pattern of a central plaza surrounded by a church, places of business and homes. This book gives a concise history of events that shaped this unusual village that was first settled in 1706.

2.0 out of 5 stars Itty Bitty Pamphlet!, December 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Old Town Albuquerque: A History of the Ancient Town at the Crossroads of the American Southwest (Paperback)
It's my own fault I didn't read the description well enough before I bought this. And yes, it was only five bucks. But this is a pamphlet, not a book. If I gift wrap it, my husband will tear it in half just trying to remove the wrapping paper. Be forewarned - it looks interesting, but it's not like an actual book.
