If you like Glen Campbell, you'll know this first Christmas album went GOLD. Old Toy Trains is one of my two favorites. Since they are lesser known songs they have got knocked off all compilations by Glen Campbell. Old Toy Trains is a wonderful song taking many of us back to childhood and simpler times. Glen's voice is stellar and relays the emotion of Christmas and opening presents!! Little Alter Boy is my next favorite on the album. The melody is hauntingly beautiful; the lyric an emotion of feelings--guilt, loneliness and sadness but also expresses the between the lines inspiration of a new beginning in our flawed humanness. Glen conveys the lyrics in such a heartfelt manner. All the other songs on this album are of equal quality--many memories listening to this growing up on VINYL! THE vinyl still HAS the BEST AUDIO.
