A couple months ago, I purchased some almond oil after reading online that they can help condition and strengthen lashes. I applied it at night, and one night I applied it all over my face in place of regular night cream. I went to bed with a greasy face, but woke up with soft, plump, happy skin. I decided to make a switch from my meh night cream (freebie blogger swag not worth mentioning) to almond oil.
As the weather got colder and dryer and more mean, the almond oil wasn't cutting it. I was getting the dry irritated skin under my nose, waking up with a tight face, and my skin looked a bit haggard. On top of it, almond oil wasn't doing anything for the little lines I am starting to get around my eyes and on my forehead (I am 36). Right when I was losing the almond oil love, I read a blog review of Ole Henriksen Pure Perfection Night Crème. As soon as I finished reading the post, I ordered myself a tub of Ole Henriksen's Pure Perfection Night Crème, it sounded so fantastic. As that I ordered it on Amazon and have Prime, it arrived two days later. I have been using this cream since Christmas Eve and have seen a marked improvement in my skin. When I wake my face doesn't feel greasy, nor is it tight. The red, dry, irritated winter skin I get under my nose and around my mouth is history. My skin feels soft, and has a nice glow to it that is unusual to see during the coldest and darkest part of the year. No breakouts, no irritation, just happy comfortable skin that looks a bit more youthful. The wrinkles are still there, but they don't seem to be as obvious. Could be due to the anti-aging properties in this cream, or maybe because my skin is properly hydrated. The formula is thick, but not heavy. A little goes a long way, so I will have this orange tub in my medicine cabinet for many months before it needs a replacement. It is to be used on the entire face - even the eye area (recommends Ole Henriksen's eye cream OVER it, five minutes after application of the night cream - I am using up the eye cream I currently have). So far, so good. This is my first time trying Ole Henriksen's line but after this experience, it won't be my last.

I'm 31 years old and my skin has never been very good. I have huge pores, I break out occasionally, and would get oily and dry patches, and I tried many (MANY) products over the years to fix my combination skin. Guess what? I don't have combination skin - I have perfectly normal skin that was being stripped and oiled alternately by the various products I tried, some of which were very expensive. I was browsing Amazon and happened across the Ole line, and took the plunge a few months ago and ordered some products. Easily the best products I have ever tried for skin care, hands-down!
The Pure Perfection moisturizer is great at night after cleansing. You only need to use a tiny amount, so the small jar lasts a long time! Some have complained a little about the smell of this particular product - I don't think the smell is bad at all, but it is not heavily perfumed. It absorbs very quickly as long as you don't over-apply. It tingles a bit at first. The only "problem" with this product is that every time I use it I have to concentrate to prevent myself from touching my face because it's so soft! This stuff literally works overnight. I can't speak to the moisturizer on its own as i've used it with other ole products, but I saw a complete transformation of my skin within a few days of using it. No more dry patches, no more oily spots. My makeup goes on easily and evenly, and the little lines around my eyes that have been there since I was 25 are almost gone, and my pores are both smaller and much MUCH more clear! I use several other Ole products including the on-the-go cleanser, pick me up toner, and also the daily moisturizer with SPF 15. I love them all and wish only that I'd found them sooner! They are in the same price range as other products I've tried that wreaked havoc on my face. Ole products are not tested on animals and are plant based. I've already bought the travel/trial pack for a friend and she loves the products, too!

I'm new to Ole Henriksen's products, having heard of them only about 3 months ago. I was looking for a product to help me with my cystic acne. I read an article on Ole Henriksen where he was having the same problem in India (over 50 years ago) & found someone who had created a cream that was not only natural & organic, it also worked & reduced his cystic acne until it was gone. Since I have terrible cystic acne, spots that will last for months & then leave red or dark brown discoloration on my skin, I was willing to try just about anything as nothing has worked to date. I started with the spot treatment for acne & it's worked like a charm quickly & without odor or residue & didn't leave my skin totally dried out.
This face crème is unlike any I've ever used. I have combo skin & I get oily in the T zone. With other products, if I use a night cream, my T-Zone in the AM is far oilier than if I use nothing at all on my face. While this crème is incredibly thick & rich, it goes on the face as light as a feather, leaving the skin feeling silky smooth. When I wake up in the morning, my T-Zone isn't oily in the least & still feels silky smooth. Finally, I am really & truly noticing that those fine lines around my mouth (the beginning of aging) are becoming less & less distinct. The only thing I don't like about the product is the smell. It's by no means foul; it smells of ginger & spice. Unfortunately, I just don't like it (sometimes odors bother me). It's certainly not enough to make me quit using a this fantastic. If you're looking for a product that actually works, that is organic & natural & also has science behind the formula, then this product is for you.
