Beautiful, November 11, 2003
This review is from: White Oleander [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
This soundtrack is pure beauty. Pure melodies, haunting rhythms, it is the quintessence of Janet Fitch's excellent novel. The sountrack beautifully captures light, airy perfection, and mixes it with darker, more thoughtful sounds. Very short, only about 30 minutes, but worth it. The sountrack to life.

Haunting and Beautiful!, November 5, 2002
This review is from: White Oleander [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
The film White Oleander, which was a good adaption of the powerful novel, has a deep and heart breaking score byu Thomas Newman. Newman also composed the unforgettable score to American Beauty. The music in White Oleaner is soothing at times as well as haunting. Tracks 2, 9 and 16 contain the chilling beat that makes this soundtrack so good. Note: This is the score (there are no lyrics)Well none are needed. White Oleander's soundtrack is a must have.
