This is a great utility knife, much lighter than the typical knife. Easy to open one handed, it won't open in your pocket or tool belt. It feels good in my hand, has quite a few sharp edges with the snap off blades. The last one or two aren't useable, but no big deal. The UltraMax blade is worth the difference in price from the standard blades it comes with. The carpet tucker gizmo on the end actually works very well for carpet as well as opening cans, etc. The little wheel ratchet feels like a precision instrument. It won't take the place of the standard carpet knife, that still rules for some things, but as a general purpose utility/carpet knife this is great. I bought two, liked them so well I bought two more. And the quality for price is amazing.
