Hands-down, best flashlight I have ever owned.

I work as a Campus Safety Officer at a local university.
Having a quality, reliable flashlight at my disposal is critical to my job performance as well as my personal safety.

I've had this light for a year and a half now, and it has not let me down a single time.

The three output modes are very convenient, and allow you to adjust the power level according to environment and scenario.
The "low" setting is great for illuminating items that you need to take a close look at. This setting is perfect for checking drivers licenses/ID's.
The "medium" setting is sufficient for illuminating small/medium sized rooms and other areas.
The "high" setting is EXTREMELY bright. Perfect for illuminating big rooms and wide spaces. I also recommend this setting for lighting up the inside of car interiors during traffic stops. When I say EXTREMELY bright, I mean that if you shine this at a white or light-colored wall, and look directly at the center of the beam from a few feet away, the reflection will be bright enough to mess with your vision momentarily. If you are holding a drivers license in your hand and use the high setting to illuminate it, it will be TOO bright to even read. Flash this in somebody's face, even for just a second, and they will be disoriented.

I love the fact that there is a separate "mode" button that takes you through each of the three output levels.
Click the button on the top of the tail cap to turn the light on.
Then click the mode button on the side of the tail cap to go from low to medium to high.

One of the other officers I work with has a 5.11 flashlight without a separate mode button.

I know reviews are always difficult to believe because you have a bunch of 5 stars, then some jack wagon gives a 1 star because he was confused about something or doesn't like how the flashlight fits in HIS hand. Don't believe it. I have literally NEVER written a review but for this light I am making an exception. I've been looking for a good tactical light for a while but this has all the features I was looking for and then some. Durable, anti roll, bright, momentary on, strobe, a great holster and a great quality product, well worth the price. I am extremely impressed. If you're on the fence buy this. It even comes in a nice case :-)

Update 7/8/13

To the guy who said this light does not work on HIGH setting with the pressure switch and 18650 batteries, mine works just fine on low/medium/high. You ignored all of this flashlight's merits and gave it a 1 star for something that apparently is no longer true. Reviewers like you make it very hard to depend on quality reviews to make online purchases.

I own a Fenix tk12 (250 lumens) and Surefire G2X (200 Lumens). The Olight is rated for 500 lumens so the actual brightness of the light is irrelevant to talk about compared to those 2. However, I will see it is much brighter (Obviously).

Compared to the Fenix the light beam is a lot smoother and cleaner. There are no spots; the light just fills up everything. Compared to the Surefire: I think the light source is a lot better than the surefire. It just seems much smoother and cleaner as well; however, I'm not sure how it would do up against a new Surefire P2X 500 lumen light. I Can say they are probably about the same light perfomance.

The build quality on Surefire is much superior to the Fenix; however, I'm undecided between the Surefire and Olight. They both have a different feel to them; but, both are definitely high build quality. I still give it it the the Surefire: the threads just feel that much more durable.

I initially purchased the Fenix because it was a cheaper higher output light with more features than the Surefires. The only problem was twisting the head to change modes back and forth which was annoying; and, the modes that were there didn't seem to have the 2 right lumen settings together on either setting.

I bought the Surefire for work because I just needed something that was on High all the time and didn't need a low long lasting setting.

When I was deciding between the Surefire P2X pro with dual outputs and the Olight this is where my decision came. The Olight has a better UI than the Surefire. I still wanted a tactical light but also wanted a good long lasting light. The Surefire couldn't do that because there is no way to turn it on high without turning it on low for the first time you turn it on.

Received my Olight M20 light and pressure switch. So far they work together like they should when you use the disposable 123 batteries. HOWEVER, when you use the rechargeable 18650 battery, with the pressure switch configuration, the highest light level cannot be achieved. It will only go to the mid range light level. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! What is the point of having a high beam, pressure switch and rechargeable battery that can't be used together properly? I had not intended on keeping a stash of expensive disposable batteries so the light and switch will work correctly. Nowhere in their literature or advertising did I find where they point out this MAJOR FLAW. I notified Olight of this and below this review is their response. What a joke. How about a refund for the whole setup or a switch that works. I would not have bought the light or switch if I had known about this. Epic Fail when it comes to tactical lights.

"Good day Sir,

Thank you for your purchase and we hope you are enjoying the light. You are correct in your analysis. The pressure switch won't stay on high setting with the 18650 rechargeable. Those batteries carry a higher voltage and current than the CR123s.
Hope this confirmation helps you, however the company is working on fixing that problem. Thank you for your questions, have a great day."
