This review is from: Olive Green color - Fenix L2D-CE Q5 Premium (Cree Q5 Edition LED) Digital LED Flashlight (6 Output levels) - 180 Lumens; included 2 x AA batteries
Fantastic bright white light in a small tough looking package. I wanted a model that uses AA rechargeables. So many led flashlights these days use expensive throw away batteries. Now really, how absurd is that? AA makes it interchangeable with other devices I have including remotes and cameras which use rechargeable AAs.
I did some research and this model appears to be incredibly efficient on battery power, especially on the lower settings. As for the physical size of this flashlight (Or "torch" as they say.) it is just large enough in diameter to hold the a AA battery, and it is almost three AA batteries long. (Uses 2 AA) There is a warning that use on turbo power (180 lumens) for over 15 minutes can be harmful to it's health, but I knew that before purchase and can't see that being an issue. Also know that the adjustment to turn down the power by turning in the middle, that is not meant to be unscrewed all the way and may lead to damage to the wiring if you do. (Curiosity killed the light.) These two cost one star off the flashlight rating for comparison's sake, but I'd definitely buy it again. Editorial - Any AA rechargeable you buy for any purpose should be at least 2100 mah, if not 2500 mah or more.

This little flashlight is simply amazing. The beam is very clearly defined, with a bright center, and it shines waaaay down the street. Light color is excellent, too. My biggest complaint is that the wife now wants one, too!
The belt holster is very handy for me, but the flashlight could easily slip into a pocket or a purse. One caution: If you carry it that way, it's possible to accidentally push in the click-type button on the rear. I don't know how long it was on, but I noticed it when I felt something hot on my leg. The instructions say not to leave it on "High" for more than ten minutes in environments where the ambient temperature is high. Unfortunately, there's no definition to explain what a "high" ambient temperature is.

I really like this flashlight and carry it with me as my primary flashlight even though I own two nice Surefires and a 4D cell maglite with the upgraded LED bulb among others. Overall, I'd say that my other flashlights are better because they have a focused beam but the reason i like this one so much is that the two Surefires require lithium batteries and the 4D cell maglite is too bulky. this Fenix was recommended by a friend and I'm glad that I paid out of pocket to get it because the fact that it only needs 2AA batteries and its shape make it much more practical for me when I use my flashlight regularly and depend on it at work. Also, the bulb has not burned out while my Surefires have needed to be replaced with less usage. I would definitely buy it again and am recommending it to friends.

I love this light! I didn't give it five stars because the duribility is lacking compared to some other tactical lights. Also, it's a bit complicated for high-stress situations.

This by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. It's very bright and will more than serve the purposes of the average citizen. It provides superior performance and price to Maglights and Surefires and gives you features, like an S.O.S mode and strobe mode, that most commercial flashlights don't have. This light was worth the money and will continue to be my go-to light in an emergency. Great performance in a small package.
