3.0 out of 5 stars Unclear on some major points
This book just didn't seem to flow, as if stand alone chapters (some on the same subject) were packaged into a book. Since there apparently isn't much that can be said about Olive Leaf extract beyond anecdotal information, the author needed filler, else this could be reduced to a phamplet. The overuse of commericial antibiotics and the evolution of drug resistant...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Natural Antibiotic, antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobia, June 12, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Dr. Morton Walker has written an excellent book which documents the history & tradition & then presents the evidence of it's efficacy in Europe & only recently the U.S. The Olive leaf extract is used for a multitude of symptoms for bacterial & viral infections. The action of olive leaf extract is fascinating & it shows action against almost any viral or bacterial infection it was tested against. Upjohn researched olive leaf back in the 1960's & it found it effective vs. every bacterium or virus it was tested against. Fortunately they gave up on it because it was rendered ineffective because it would bind to serum protein in the blood rendering it ineffective in the body. But scientists in Europe continued researching it & in 1994 finally were able to overcome this problem. This is a must read for anyone concerned about acquiring any type of cold, flu, viral, bacterial, microbial, parasitic or fungal infection. Plus best of all it is as safe as purified water - so it has no side effects. Also with many strains of bacteria becoming antibiotic resistant because of overuse of antibiotics by doctors & hospitals, this is a very viable & safe option.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most important medical discovery ever. Period., March 17, 2000

Bible guy "tJC33" (Melbourne, Vic Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Dr. Walker does a stupendous job at explaining exactly what Olive Leaf Extract is and what it does. His medical evidence and research is meticulous. His writing is concise. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to eradicate infectious disease from his or her life. What we're looking at is a complete and total cure for virtually all viral, bacterial, fungal, and protozoal infection. Here we have DOCUMENTED PROOF that the HIV virus is killable and no one seems to know or care. The only way we'll ever know is to read this book and apply its advice. The medicine is textbook sound, and Dr. Walker obviously has done his homework. Please buy this book and tell the world that the AIDS curse has finally--thank God in heaven above--come to a definite end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Olive leaf immune boosster!, January 26, 1999
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Olive leaf can make a dramatic difference in your immune system. However, those people who suffer from a compromised immune system, such as: chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic candida, HIV, lupus, etc., START SLOWLY!!! As an antiviral, bacterial, parasitic Olive leaf extract is a DETOXIFING AGENT. It will begin to kill off these things and release them. In doing so it will further supress your immune system for a short duration. It is wonderful. But, begin slowly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Why are doctors not telling us about this?, August 31, 2000
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
When I first picked up this book I had to ask myself as a CFIDS sufferer who is plagued with viruses and a suppressed immune system is this too good to be true? This seems to be the cure-all that everyone has been looking for and what's more, it is natural and has been used for thousands of years (and microbes have not become resistant to it like antibiotics). All of Dr Walker's claims are empirically supported with detailed studies and personal accounts. At times you can be blinded my science and if I had any criticism of the book it would be that layman's terms could have been employed more for those that aren't familiar with the latin names of their body parts.

Overall however once you have waded through the jargon you are inspired and enthused by its incredible message. Olive Leaf Extract is the official infectious disease remedy of Hungary. Why are our doctors not doing more? As I am now starting a course of treatment of Olive Leaf Extract time will tell as to whether reality matches the promise and if it does I will let you know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Olive Leaf- know your source, January 2, 2000
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Olive Leaf Extract was originally developed and marketed by East Park Research in Nevada, which I understand holds a processing patent. This useful book uses much material from East Park's research. Olive Leaf represents a vital, natural substitute for some of the more toxic drugs for chronic infections. Dr. Walker has provided a concise and excellent overview for both the patient and the practitioner. Well worth looking into.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to stop taking antibiotics!, December 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
The product, Olive Leaf Extract is incredible. It has been used by Europeans before the discovery of antibiotics. It has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties and can keep a cold from developing into bronchitis. My office sounds like the inside of a consumptive ward. Everyone one is on antibiotics. I got a cold one week after a recent trip on a plane. I went to a health food store and asked what to take to lessen the impact as I had all the beginning symptoms of the flu. The owner handed me Olive Leaf Extract. I followed the directions, had a slight fever but in two days I was up and running. O.L.E. also has other benefits, heart, sinus cholesterol etc. READ the book. It is enlightening. Get off of antibiotics!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Optimal Viral Fighter!!, April 10, 1999
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Material in this book convinced me to try the substance. Researching a list of manufacturers in the back of the book, I selected Ameriden. They had done a lot of research and subsequently settled on a product that had a STABLIZED level of Olive Leaf Extract. This means, it didn't "break down" over a short period of time while in the bottle. One case (12 bottles) later, I seem to be symptom free. Note: I took 1 capsule (500 mg), four times a day. A case of 12 bottles lasted about 6 months.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kill all the viruses in your body, April 18, 2005
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
Olive Leaf Extract by the manufacturer Eastpark.com works for me, it gives me more energy and feel much better at 72 years old. It has extended my brothers life who had a severe case of TB and emphysema. He has lived five years since starting there Olive Leaf and we know this would not have happened without it.

The book explains a lot of information why Olive Leaf works and is very interesting for anyone concerned about their health dilemma and longevity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating read and great for reference, August 7, 2007
This review is from: Olive Leaf Extract (Paperback)
This book is great for anyone who wishes to take charge of their health. "START HERE". The author has not only given you useful information on how and why this works, but also information on purchasing and classification. When I saw how thin this book was I was at first disappointed, but after reading it cannot think of one thing I missed or was not explained in it's entirety. This book now has a special spot on my desk for quick reference anytime I need it, I find answers in seconds.
