About the Author
Chris Salewicz has been a rock & film writer for twenty years. Starting on NME he interviewed everyone from Bob Marley to Marvin Gaye. He moved on to work on Rolling Stone, LA Times and contributing editor of Time Out and wrote on film for The Face. He was a founder member of MTV Europe and presented many programmes for them. He first met Oliver Stone when writing a screenplay in the early 1980s and became a friend.

Okay but Redundant,
A Kid's Review

If you haven't read the Riordan biography of Mr. Stone yet, this book basically covers all the ground that's covered in that. Only get this book if you are a devoted disciple of Mr. Stone (like me) and want to get it for the sake of having a complete collection on the filmmaker (or if you happen to value Daily Variety's film reviews). Otherwise, save your money.
