My three year old daughter loves Olivia!!, we introduce her Olivia first on books and now on TV and she loves seen her in action.
Olivia does, think and imagine as a kid her stories are very entertaining for kids and adults in a very innocent way, in a way that will never scare a kid.
Last experience we had with Olivia was when taking my daughter to Metropolitan museum of art in NY, she found a modern art paint from Olivia's book also pictured in one of the episodes of season 1 (don't remember which one) and she was astonished to find it hanging on the wall, she excitedly reported to my husband and I that she saw the paint in Olivia.
I absolutely recommend this TV show to parents.

I really love this for my little one. She hardly watches any tv. This is a treat and she loves it. I like it because it has a good message, good music, it doesn't move too fast, its simple yet fun, and there isn't any sarcasm like a lot of kid shows. Olivia is a pig just working out how to be herself growing up.

Such an adorable, cute kids show. Both my son and my daughter can't get enough of Olivia, and it stays very true to the spirit of the books.

Season one is far superior to season two. Olivia is a great role model, except when she's being mean to her little brother. But they always work it out. She's an original with a great imagination.

In Season two, they get caught up with more girly things like princesses and her stamping everything with a glittery O. They also do a goodnight song after each segment (there are two per episode) which eliminates some storytelling time.

What is it that babies find so calming about Olivia? Could it be the resemblance the cartoon pig noses bear to their food source? I really don't know but I do know that with all the over stimulating cartoons geared toward the pear headed crowd, the relaxed sound of this one helps dial down the crazy a notch.
This is useful for an emergency solution for quieting fussies.
