This is a great album. And the drums of Carlos Aldama are unique. Dont think so much in buying this record. It is great

Once again an amazing work that speaks of the Orisa, their mysteries & power. This is a haunting, exciting & powerful work that would be beautiful for prayer, worship & just listening! Anyone that practices or studies the African religions should invest in this. I have heard many of his other works, and this is one his best! A gifted man with a pure connection to beauty & truth...

Lazaro Ros' crip-clear, melodic voice meets authentic Santeria songs to produce one of the finest sets of Santeria music I've ever listened. This album should be a classic to lovers of Santeria music. It has both high artistic and religious value. I highly recommended.

Baba Lazaros is passed away now to my understanding. But he leaves behind several great pieces of music that will make him name remembered forever. I only wished I could have heard him play live! This is a wonderful CD. Devotees and Priests WILL feel the Orisa moving through this selection of songs.

Turn the lights off, light a seven colored candle, and make sure to wear white clothing. You are about to enter the world of the Orisha! Lazaro's voice will put you in a trance, like you have never felt befor. Don't be surprised if you have the desire to smoke a Cuban Cigar, or the erge to drink Puerto Rican Rum. It's only natural when the Orisha are near.
