Over the years I have tried several brands of cordless phone systems and they all had two things in common: They were all extremely unattractive, in fact, it seemed to me that these industrial designers (sic) had all agreed to design handsets for teenage gamers as they were all gaudy cheap-looking things. And Secondly, they all essentially did not work very well. The more features they tried to cram into them the less functional they were.
Without exception, they all ended up on the recycle bin.
I already owned the outstanding Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 9000 6-CD/Tuner and several B&O speakers that had performed flawlessly and extremely well for more than a decade, so why not their phones.
Many balk at the cost, but when I considered how much I had essentially wasted on all the previous junk, the price was not all that bad when you consider all the longevity and functionality I gained.
The design of this equipment is simple and elegant. Fit, finish and quality of materials are all outstanding. Signal is crystal clear, controls simple and intuitive and the battery life was far better by far than any other system I tried.
So, great looking, highly functional and durable. A no-brainer unless you would rather have your phones look like modern athletic shoes and not work very well.
Only negative is that these phone have no speakerphone capability. Big deal.
