The reviews suggested that this would be a great pack for teachers. I have found this to not be true. The plastic at the bottom is much too thin to handle a pack of papers and books. Mine cracked to pieces. It was hard to believe because I am careful with my equipment and also am careful about what I spend my hard earned money on. Well, after using it for about a month, I had cracked pieces all over my car and classroom. And I bought the 39 dollar crate, not the 20 dollar one. You know, nothing is better than a milk crate. A milk crate lasts forever, even though it looks a little tacky. I would not suggest you spend your money on this product. Cindy

We bought this in December, 2008 but after a few uses of carefully hauling books, it fell apart. I spent a lot of time reading the product reviews. I settled on this because of the good reviews. After it happened to us, I went back to the reviews and read a review from a Teacher who had the same experience as us. So this is not an isolated incident. I will not buy this product again. It is not as it is claimed to be. Buyer beware.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought by husband this to haul his textbooks back and forth. It already has a crack in it and a big chunk of plastic came off it. I would've sent it back but was not up for the hassle. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS ITEM.

The handle gets stuck easily
I got the fist one with handle stuck on half way, and the second one with similar problem. Check carefully.

Buy the one at OfficeMax instead.
The telescopic handle broke after 4 days of use. The one I bought from OfficeMax took about 18 months before the handle broke down. Read more

Defective as Received
The handle latch buttons do not fully retract when fully depressing the release button. That means you have to force and wiggle to get the handle up/down. Returned.

Useful for school, needs reinforcing to last!
