The reviews suggested that this would be a great pack for teachers. I have found this to not be true. The plastic at the bottom is much too thin to handle a pack of papers and books. Mine cracked to pieces. It was hard to believe because I am careful with my equipment and also am careful about what I spend my hard earned money on. Well, after using it for about a month, I had cracked pieces all over my car and classroom. And I bought the 39 dollar crate, not the 20 dollar one. You know, nothing is better than a milk crate. A milk crate lasts forever, even though it looks a little tacky. I would not suggest you spend your money on this product. Cindy

We bought this in December, 2008 but after a few uses of carefully hauling books, it fell apart. I spent a lot of time reading the product reviews. I settled on this because of the good reviews. After it happened to us, I went back to the reviews and read a review from a Teacher who had the same experience as us. So this is not an isolated incident. I will not buy this product again. It is not as it is claimed to be. Buyer beware.

I bought by husband this to haul his textbooks back and forth. It already has a crack in it and a big chunk of plastic came off it. I would've sent it back but was not up for the hassle. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS ITEM.

The first two didn't survive shipping. The next one arrived with a latch off and the springs missing. However, it did last for two years in this crippled condition. When it finally cracked from being used by someone unfamiliar with with its' idiosyncrasies, my wife asked for another one.

Two weeks ago it arrived and was put into service hauling groceries. The handle malfunctioned on first use and a wheel proved to be cracked.

I stomped it to flinders and put in in the trash. Good concept imperfectly realized.

I bought this because it is always awkward to get the groceries out of the trunk of the car (multiple runs to and from the trunk to the fridge with stuff dropping all the time and stuff warming up in the summer heat). To my surprise this item folds flat to a tiny footprint but when opened up us a huge and -most important- sturdy crate that can hold TONS.
We have found outselves using this not only for groceries but also for carrying our chairs and towels from the parking lot to the beach, heck, we've even transported our 7 yr old with a cut in his foot on this thing. Gotta love a truly useful tool like this.

This is the book cart for you if you are a teacher, a mother, or someone who has to take a lot of stuff along with you. Very strong and the wheels work great. I have had similar carts but none were this quality.

I bought this cart and had it only 1 month before it really started falling apart. I am a teacher and I need to haul around some textbooks at times and the plastic started to break very quickly! I would not recommend this product unless you are just planning to carry around light weight items.

I needed something to transport teaching materials; I teach at a college with several campuses and need to haul stuff around with me. The handle jammed after a few months and cannot be fully retracted. Then the hinges holding the bottom on snapped. I transport a lot of books and papers (and sometimes other heavy items), but I thought the cart would be tough enough to handle it. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The thing has begun to fall apart and the bottom dropped out recently while I was using it. Also, some pieces of plastic have broken off. I admit that I put it to a lot of hard use but I didn't throw it downstairs or put 50-pound rocks in it. I now need a new cart, and I am going to try a different brand...perhaps Rubbermaid, which has a good reputation for toughness.

got this to replace 8yrs old Grand Pack-N-Roll by a different company...this one is of extremely poor quality. I teach & haul lots of stuff back & forth between school & home. This cart will be lucky to hold up til Christmas! The cart I had for 8yrs has finally given out, but despite the same name, the new company doesnt make them to stand up to the old one. If you are just using it for storage & rolling lighter things short distances it might work for you, but I am afraid to walk the 4blocks to school with this full of all my books&things.

We find the Grand Pack-N-Roll foldable cart invaluable for transporting materials throughout the office and between locations on campus. We give them heavy use and they hold up remarkably well. The only problem we tend to have is with the side clips breaking off when they receive really rough handling. Good item, reasonably priced, and an excellent vendor!
