Great Phone for the Price!,

I'm very pleased with this phone!I got this phone about a week ago. At first, I only bought the base station (includes a handset) and one external handset. Two days ago I went back for two more handsets. I also bought a base station plus three external handsets for my folks. The price is incredible! The base + three external handsets cost about what the base alone will cost you on a Panasonic. Directory: Caller ID: Handset extras: Batteries: Other comments:

I got a great discount and picked one of these including three additional handsets up for [a good price].Quality is great for the prices. This is not a Mercedes under the sky (Siemens 4210 comes to mind) but does the job. Good functionality (except that locking the keyboard requires 8 keystrokes - thankfully unlocking requires only 3) - and the best sound quality a found in a sub $100 2.4Ghz phone (I tried and returned a lot). Nice loude ringer - caller ID on call waiting etc... It is also small enough to fit in my pants pocket (I don't trust the belt clip when I am working in the yard.... I dropped to many phones in the dirt already...)

Nice look and features - but falls short,

The look and feel of this phone is great. Lots of memory forphone numbers, interchangeable faceplates, BUT There's no backlight so you have to be in good light to read the display. It saves all numbers as 10 digit - OK if you're in a 10 digit calling area - bad if you're not as there's no way to edit them and 7 digit numbers have to be entered manually, making the call back feature of CID useless. Although the sound quality is good, there's a pronounced echo when speaking that makes the phone annoying to use.

I Love This Phone,

This phone system is fantastic, particularly when you compare the price to some of the others (Seimens, Sony, etc). I purchased one of the base units and one of the extension phones and couldn't be happier. Sound quality is as good as a corded phone, and it has all of the features that you could want. Buy this one instead of the more expensive brands.

This is a pretty good cordless phone that is priced much lower than other units, but still manages to maintain par with them in terms of quality and features.PROs: CONs:

I bought this phone and 1 additional handset about 3 years ago. It worked well for about a year. First the LED screen on one phone went blank, now the LED on the second phone has also gone blank. Sound quality is generally poor. I originally purchased this because of the price - one of the least expensive multi handset cordless phones. Not worth it. I'm now looking to replace the system.

A decent phone.,

This phone is actually pretty decent. Three complains I have: not loud enough, very uncomfortable to hold, and lack of backlight for the display. The voice quality is fairly clear but weak. The sound is not rich or full. If you set the volumne all the way up, then there is enough sound, BUT you get the constant echo/feedback. If you set it low enough to avoid the echo/feedback, then it's not loud enough to hear. As far as ergonomics, the speaker part is very thin, so hard to hold and get that "sweet spot", and forget about tilting your head to shoulder the phone, cuz you might break your neck doing that. On the positive note, this has the longest range of any 2.4ghz phones I tested, and the voice actually stayed clear all the way until it lost signal, which is very impressive. Its battery is quite good, comes close to the rated 7-8 hours. The keys should be less stiff... All in all, this is a good phone for the price you pay.

This is a terrible phone. The phone will constantly make clicking noises that only the caller on the other end will hear. There is a loud echo which makes it very annoying to talk with. TERRIBLE PHONE!!!

I bought this telephone specifically because it is listed by Amazon as having speakerphone functionality. On receiving the telephone I found that this is not the case. The misrepresentation by Amazon has caused me considereable inconvenience.

I bought this phone with one additional accompany headset to see how it works. I've had it for over 6 months now (since this review) and so far I will have to say it's a great phone. It has many features that you will be able to read about from the product details or from another review here so I won't go into that. The phone is sleak looking with changable colored face plates. It allows up to three additional headsets (sold seperately) to "link" to the base which is great. Not only do I used it as a phone but it works as an "internal" intercom system for my home. The sound qualty is great and it's a pretty durable phone (God knows I've dropped it enough to find out!). Being on the computer as much as I am, I'm greatful for the ability to plug a headset to it which I use when I need to carry it around the house while on the phone. It hooks up right up with my phone companies services that I have. I'm not sure how it does it but it tells me when I have messages waiting in my "message box"... etc. I reccomend this phone to anyone who wants a reiable and expandiable phone "system" without paying too much for it. :) |
