I bought these for some extra warmth when riding my motorcycle in the peak winter months. These liners were very inexpensive and it shows in the quality. The "metallic" threads come out very easily. The extra warmth from the scientific breakthrough threads are not very effective. They look like Michael Jackson gloves, get dirty easily and offer very little heat retention under thick gloves. You are much better off getting a pair of yellow dish washing gloves from the dollar store if you want to keep the heat inside your gloves and block some of the wind that creeps in at hwy speeds - this is what I did last year and was able to ride in -30 F weather without any problems.
