In New Zealand, where they are made, you see these being worn all over the place, and for good reason. Great for something like a bike ride in the fall, where you want a bit of warmth but still want something breathable. They are stylish, warm, but thin and comfortable (don't feel like "wool"). I have one, and my wife has a couple.

Bought this to take with me on a riding trip on my motorbike. Needed something not as bulky as any other sweater, that can protect me from the cold nights and cold weather when the altitude is a bit higher than the usual. It's great as an all around sweater: comes in handy in malls when the AirCon is blasting icy temperatures at you, and also great outdoor when temperatures drop.
The fabric is very soft, doesn't itch and when you wear it on top of a base layer (another icebreaker t-shirt or any type of tank top / t-shirt or long sleeve), this acts like a little heating blanket :)
I like that the neck has a very long collar so when I ride I can zip it up and it protects my neck where the jacket collar stops and where there's no helmet, a bit like a baclava - really nice.
The color and design are well represented in the picture above, what you see is what you get. Sizing is true to size, pick what you usually wear.
I picked L and it was just nice. If you plan on wearing it on top of two layers, then maybe pick a size up because it fits close to your body.
