I purchased this product along with a set of lens filters a few weeks ago. The tube attaches to my camera smoothly and securely as promised.A NOTE to anybody looking for accessories for the Olympus C5000 camera, this tube adapts to 55mm. There are numerous sources online for lens filters which say they fit the C5000 with the aid of an adaptor, but many of these filters are 52mm and will require you to purchase a step-up ring to fit the CLA-6. There are other adaptors online which adapt the C5000 directly to 52mm lens filters at or around the same price as the CLA-6.

I've been using this adapter for about 2 years now, and it works great. The threads are still in excellent condition and I have no problem fitting my lenses and filters onto the adapter.
