The MIC-D is an all-new digital microscope for education and personal use that utilizes USB technology to produce a live image viewable on a computer monitor. It utilizes an inverted lens design so specimens of variable sizes and shapes can be viewed with little or no preparation, and a rotatable lamp enables the illumination of opaque specimens by reflected light.

Besides being great for individual use, the MIC-D is also terrific in a classroom setting. Instead of individual observation through an ordinary eyepiece, live images can be viewed by many on a computer monitor via a simple USB connection, making the MIC-D an exceptional resource for classroom teaching. These and other digital images provided by the MIC-D can be quickly and easily processed as well, so users can store, print, edit or discard their still images or post them on a website, attach them in emails or include in reports.
