I was impressed that the flash's lens's zoom kept in focal length sync with the kit zoom lens. Cool feature. And I was happy with the even exposure.

I thought the plasticized cardboard bounce diffuser was a little cheezy. I did not appreciate having to stick very aggressive velcro tape to the body of my new flash in order to hold the diffuser on. They don't tell you that part in the description.

Overall A good purchase!

I love the Olympus FL-36R flash. I live where the winters are long & the days are short. This flash works great to brighten things up. Very happy with purchase. I don't recommend buying the off brand flashes as you will spend much time adjusting parameters. With the Olympus it is simple just attach the flash to your hot shoe & you're ready to go. Awesome product & awesome service.

The bounce flash kit works great with my Olympus E-420. I get really professional results. In addition, kit comes with many great accessories like a bounce reflector and a battery charger with rechargeable batteries. This is a really great package at a great price.

Bought this Flash for my Olympus E-510 and am more than happy with it. It works perfectly, the reload time is a couple of seconds and the multi direction head is great. If you buy this, consider getting a real diffuser as well. The one in the Kit is good but you will soon want a better one.

great flash unit, very flexible and easy to use.

This is a nice flash.
The re-charge is maybe a bit slow,especially if the rechargeable batteries aren't 2500mah or more.
I don't find it much of a problem. By the time I reset my camera settings, the flash is ready to go.
