This case is a secure and snug fit for the EP-1 with the 14042 lens installed. It completely covers the camera when closed. The upper part of the cover completely comes off and the base portion has a cutaway to allow the LCD screen to be used. It is heavy leather and even though the base just slides on it is quite secure.
