FIND ANOTHER CAMERA! You have been warned!,
This review is from: Olympus FE-26 12MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD (Black) (Electronics)
So where should I start? Sloppy, cheap outer plastic that is more suited to a kid's toy camera. And the picture quality if just horrible, just horrible. It's pretty grainy, even at higher resolutions, and the AF/stabilizing features on the camera are just gimmicky. They don't work at all. Basically this camera carries out its functions pretty poorly. Just don't buy, it's just horrible. Even if you're looking for an introductory camera. You have been warned.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Olympus FE-26 12MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD (Black) (Electronics)
I bought this camera for my 12 year old son. It is perfect for him. It very light weight, most of the exterior is plastic. Pictures are decent and it's easy to use. Although I would not buy it for my primary camera,it would serve nicely as a back up camera. For the price I paid I would buy it again.

I can't emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the Fe series from Olympus. I have owned 4 of them now because they are inexpensive and because after the first 2 I had accessories like back up batteries and memory cards to offer for another one. Let me just say, I am not a camera snob and I thought this was a great point and shoot camera that gave me terrific pictures and had great battery life. However, EVERY SINGLE ONE of the FOUR has broken the SAME WAY. The lens motor becomes worn out, not even from rough use just regular use, and then the lens will no longer come out and take pictures or recede back into the camera should you be able to coax it out. 4 cameras, each one with the same problem costing more than the retail price of the camera to fix, not one lasted more than 5 months. BAD CAMERA!
