I own a $2000 dollar Cannon SLR and a $1200 Sony DV camcorder. This does almost as good as either with pics or video and is the size of three of my fingers together. We got it for hiking and nature since it's so pocket size and the LCD takes up most of the back of the camera which is nice to be able to review images. Very nice product.

This is my first review on Amazon and I figured, I should only praise this camera.

It has lasted me 5 years and has been amazing from the beginning. It gives enough settings to create the best digital pictures I have ever experienced. It includes a panoramic option that is fun to use in epic landscapes. The battery has been efficient, but I purchased an extra to be safe.
I am looking to purchase a mini tripod just so I can take even better pictures, since most of the settings used for different settings require an extremely steady hand. The photos I have taken with it so far cause be mistaken for cheap SLR camera photos.
I would certainly gives this a 5 star for the value you will receive on this camera.
