Good basic point and shoot camera,

This review is from: Olympus FE20 8.0 Megapixel Digital Camera - Black (Electronics)
The FE-20 is a good point and shoot camera. It has a nice size preview screen that makes it easy to see your shot. It has good color nice sizing and responds well to all kinds of light levels. I really like the preview screen, it nice size. I bought this camera to replace the old point and shoot camera and my wife loves it. She likes the menu better and says it much easier to use. She is not one to take a lot of picture because the old camera was not "user friendly" for her, but this one is very "friendly".

Worth the Money,

This is a point and shoot camera. I have needed one for a while and picked one up at Staples for [...] after rebate! It is worth every bit of what I paid, easy interface, long lasting rechargeable battery, and USB cable and charger. Cant beat the price. If you are looking for a replacement for those [...] a shot disposables and want to upgrade to a nice digital with competitive zoom, this is it.

Best Super Slim 8 MP Digital Camera under $ 200 Dollars,

Super sharp crystal clear pictures. Great Color. Nice large LCD viewing screen Fits easy into your shirt pocket with room to spare. Pictures can be blown up to poster size and still remain sharp. Best Value of super slim cameras under $ 200 out there and it is a 8 megapixel you find in top end cameras. Bought 1 for girlfriend because she kept borrowing mine.

not so bad but expected better,

Well there's good and bad with this camera. One thing is if you set the picture quality on "normal" you will get somewhat fuzzy or blurry photos like some others have said, although your picture files won't be so large size in megabytes. With quality set on "fine" the pictures are decent, but file size is large, almost too large. Colors on some photos sometimes come out too reddish. Outdoor movies can come out horrible, very red, overall this is not a good movie camera, Samsungs tend to be very good for movies. Battery life is very good, drain it at least once and then fully charge, it will improve. Good small size and fairly easy to use, everything else is OK.

Great Outdoors Camera!,
This review is from: Olympus FE20 8.0 Megapixel Digital Camera - Black (Electronics)
We used this camera on our boat to take pictures of our grandkids tubing behind the boat and the pictures came out Great! And we were doing 20-30 mph on a slightly choppy water, the Image Stabilization works fantastic. We even took zoomed pictures of the kids on the tube behind the boat and I could not believe how good the pictures came out. We bought it elsewhere for under $100 and it is a great value for the money. It is nice and slim, I like the lens cover that closes automatically when you shut the camera off and the battery lasts quite awhile. I put a 2gb card in the camera and it says it will take over 500 pictures. The only thing you need to know is that the USB has to be plugged directly into the computer and not through a USB hub! At first I could not transfer images so I called Olympus and they explained this and when I plugged directly into the computer, it worked just fine. Highly recommended but shop around for deals.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

After some research on current camera offerings, I decided to go with this one. And Amazon had the lowest price on the net. Product arrived faster than expected, was well packed, and had all the equipment that goes with it.

I am very happy with this product. I have not had it long enough to know if there are any problems. It is not the best camera but for the price it is very good.

This is the second of this model I have purchased. The first one died a violent death, and I missed it so much I ordered another. It uses the XD card, the same as my FUJI SLR, so I can switch cards. It is easy to use, and fits in your pocket. The only down side is the lag time. Don't expect to catch a runner in mid-stride. By the time it finally takes the photo, he or she will be two steps down the track.

Will get a different camera,

The camera does take nice pictures and it is great when traveling because it fits in a pocket. BUT, the battery life is horrible. Whether I use OEM batteries or generic, it is the same. You get a very short battery life, it seems that if the battery is in the camera even with the camera off, the battery life is being used. I have 4 batteries with me at all times and it is not enough for a day of sightseeing. I will be purchasing a different pocket camera.
